A light-filled apartment in the heart of Ivano-Frankivsk, offering breathtaking views over the city's lake
Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and the surrounding landscape shaped the design concept. We embraced this connection to nature by creating inviting places to pause, unwind, and take in the views, making the landscape an integral part of everyday life.
The apartment's visual identity is defined by the contrast between light and dark surfaces, creating a restrained yet expressive atmosphere. Deep graphite tones, applied across larger surfaces, are balanced by the warmth and natural texture of oak. Graphic black accents, carried consistently throughout the interior, complete the apartment's cohesive design language.
One of the client's key requests was to enjoy the lake views directly from the bed. To make this possible, we elevated the bedroom by two steps, creating a more open and unobstructed outlook from this space. A cosy window seat with a built-in upholstered bench was also introduced, offering the perfect spot to read or enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the view of the lake.
